Lowell MST's Mission: Making our best better through imaginative,
innovative, and interactive learning. Students
at Lowell Math, Science and Technology (MST) Elementary have unique
opportunities for hands-on, inquiry-based learning thanks to focused
learning materials, substantial use of technology, extensive community
partnerships and on-going professional development for teachers and staff.
At Lowell MST, each day begins with a live TV news broadcast,
students have access to classroom computers, mobile labs, SMART Boards,
GPS units, the DDN network and many other forms of technology. One
of the latest opportunities for learning at Lowell has been the Urban
Garden project - a priceless effort for community involvement and
cooperation, education, and beautification of the neighborhood.
Through the use of specialized materials, professional development,
technology and community partnerships, it is the District's hope that
Lowell MST students will develop a deeper understanding of and passion for
math and science.
